The UK airline will offer free fast in-flight wifi through space-based agreement
Travelers aboard the airline can soon access quick connectivity onboard without charge after a new deal with SpaceX's space firm.
Free and Quick Connectivity for All
The airline announced that this complimentary, “fast and dependable” wifi service from the satellite provider becomes available for passengers in coach, premium economy, and first class from next month.
Broad Implementation Across Several Airlines
The umbrella organization of BA, International Airlines Group, stated it had secured an partnership with Starlink for providing wifi access for more than 500 aircraft across its operators, which also include the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, plus Vueling.
Seamless Wifi starting at Gate through Landing
British Airways explained that this implementation of the system was included in a £7bn “modernization” program that will deliver uninterrupted internet access to travelers starting at boarding through arrival, including when they are flying above seas or remote regions.

Existing Connectivity Options
Restricted internet access is currently offered for British Airways travelers across most of the airline's planes via the .air service.
Members in BA’s frequent flyer program may dispatch communications plus text-only messages during flights free of charge, whereas travelers looking to access audio, movies, or content on their flight if not flying in premium cabins can expect to pay from £4.99 and twenty-one pounds ninety-nine for a wifi bundle.
