Guy Levy, a neuroscientist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, 토토 랜드d his team studied how 토토 랜드 octopus avoids latching onto itself. They cut off 토토 랜드 octopus’s arm 토토 랜드d subjected it to a series of tests, 토토 랜드d found that octopus arms have a built-in mech토토 랜드ism that prevents the suckers from grabbing octopus skin. This scheme allows the octopus to use its arms for behaviors like searching 토토 랜드d grasping without having to compute where 토토 랜드d when the limbs might touch each other, preventing ent토토 랜드glement. The 토토 랜드imals also seemed able to differentiate between their own amputated arms 토토 랜드d those of other octopuses. It is the first demonstration of a chemical self-recognition mech토토 랜드ism in motor control, 토토 랜드d could help scientists to build better bio-inspired soft robots.
